Mission
The purpose of Valuing Our Children is:
- to help parents in the North Quabbin Region increase nurturing skills and knowledge of child development
- to provide a place for parents to network, trade ideas and give each other support
- to let parents know about places for families in the North Quabbin Region
- to help people in the community understand how important it is to take responsibility for all children
- to develop programs using ideas and suggestions from area people
- to help area agencies work better together
- to offer support for families in times of need
- To provide developmentally appropriate play activities for children
Valuing Our Children provides transportation and childcare when needed for parents to attend classes and activities. All programs are free and focus on the strengths found in all families. Valuing Our Children programs are open to all families in the North Quabbin region.
