The Valuing Our Children Family Center, located at 217 Walnut Street in Athol, is open to all families in the area. We offer parenting education classes, support groups, playgroups, and family support activities at this location.

The Family Center has a classroom, a parents' lounge and a playroom for playgroups and childcare during programming. Families are welcome to drop in to the center during working hours to use the playroom, borrow books or toys, and talk with the staff. Free used children's clothing is also available at the Family Center.

Administrative offices are located on the second floor of the Family Center.

The Family Center is handicapped accessible.

The Family Center was purchased in 2001 with the support of the John W. Boynton Foundation. In 2008 the upstairs was renovated by the generous contributions of Shawmut Design and Construction through the sponsorship of The Massachusetts Children's Trust Fund.
